Glory, Glory! Man. United

Another App showing the hymn of a soccer team. This time the english team Manchester United. I'm getting used to create this kind of Apps, so it is really fast for me now. It didn't even take 5 minutes to be built!

I have a template on my graphics tool for creating the icon and the header picture, so I just change the logo of the team, and adjust the colors to have the icon in less than a minute. I do the same with the header picture. Total time: 2 minutes. Then I upload both pictures to Mobincube, create the main screen and set the text of the song. 2 more minutes! Finally I set the look and feel of the App... 30 seconds!

With this App I want to awake the interest of british users, hoping that some of them will visit my website and download other Apps. This is a way to cross-promotion as well.

Google has removed this App from GooglePlay. They've been informed by the DMCA that this App infriged copyright. They say that due to a serious copyright infrigment or repeated violations a developer account can be suspended. I'm a bit scared, I'll be more careful of what I publish and won't publish this kind of Apps in USA. Of course USA is the most important country for GooglePlay... but since they don't care too much about soccer, I don't really need to publish soccer team anthems there.

Inno AC Milan

Another App showing the hymn of a soccer team. This time the italian team AC Milan. I'm getting used to create this kind of Apps, so it is really fast for me now. It didn't even take 5 minutes to be built!

Christian Prayers in Spanish

This App contains the texts of main Christian prayers in the spanish language. It was also really simple to build it, since only had a menu and one text screen for each prayer. But, of course, it took me a bit more time than other Apps, like anthem Apps, since I had to create 16 screens.

Well... I created on text screen for one prayer. Then I cloned it 15 times, went to all of them and changed their text with the corresponding prayer. Cloning a screen takes 30 seconds in Mobincube, and this causes the development of large Apps be slower. I asked them and they told me that this is something they are working on, so soon it will be faster to create Apps with lots of screens.

I created this App only in Spanish. I think there are enough christians in Spain and South America, so the target audience for this App should be good enough. If after some weeks I see good downloads from this App, I will think of building versions in other languages.

Spanish phone codes

A simple but useful App for spanish citizens. It contains a list for regional calling codes. The list can be ordered by number or by province number.

This App was really easy to create with mobincube. It took me 10 minutes to create the icon and the header picture, and then 5 minutes to build the App.

Since it is targetting just one country, I don't expect huge revenues from this App. But... hey! If it can make at least $0,5 per month, I'll be happy. Every cent counts! In 2 years I would have $12 for those 15 minutes of my time.

USA National Anthem

Another simple App offering some history and the lyrics of the USA national Anthem. It was also really easy to create this App. It just has one menu, created with a option-list screen type and some information screens.

With this App I'm targetting the US market, of course. I hope I can learn some things about promoting Apps in that market. Well, maybe all US citizens already know the lyrics of their Anthem and they don't need this App.

Inno della Juve

The App with the hymn of the italian soccer team Juventus. I'm getting used to create this kind of Apps: 4 minutes to create the icon and the header picture, 3 minutes to look for the text in the Internet and 2 minutes to build the App with Mobincube.

With this App I will face the italian market, to see if I can attract downloads from Italy.

This App has been removed from GooglePlay due to copyright infringment. What a pity, it was doing good downloads and I was happy with its revenues. It made almost $3 in 15 days. Not bad for those 9 minutes of work.

USA Area Codes

A simple App that every american citizen should have installed in its phone. It shows a list of american phone area codes, ordered by number or by state name.

It took me just 15 minutes to build it. I just got the list of area codes from the WWW and created an App with 3 screens. I'm using two types of screens: option list screen and information screen.

From the option list the user selects the ordenation format (number or state). And the other two screens show the list in the corresponding format.

Only 10 downloads. I must have done something wrong. I've changed the description in Google Play, just to check if it gets a better positioning in the GooglePlay search engine.

Maybe I should also change the name of the App. Please, USA readers, can you help me decide a better name? Do you call this phone codes with another name instead of "area codes"? Thanks!
